Folks, I’m all for buying local.  I’d much rather order delivery from a locally-owned company over a large multinational chain.  However…when the founders of that local company do bad things, or take no responsibility for their slum property — well, all bets are off.  The man who owns this home (and probably others on the brink of collapse) is one of the founders of the Pizza Bolis chain.  Please let them know how you feel about putting money in the pockets of a man who can do this to a neighborhood:

2726 Fox Street

2726 Fox, Rear

2726 Fox, Side – Home next to it was demolished by the City.

Baltimore is so infantile when it comes to business. Having owned and managed several Baltimore Properties-The challenges facing property owners are tremendous-Theft-Non Paying Tenants, and worse try to evict someone and you become the villain. I could upload pictures of things tenants have done that would turn your stomach, show you how thieves repeatedly broke into homes and stole copper pipes, washing machines, stoves. At best I can file a police report at worst multiple damaged properties with no little or no access to additional funding is the kiss of death for the real estate property owner. If you want to help try a different approach-I have a story to tell.

Being a property owner isn’t for everyone, despite what the TLC and HGTV shows would like you to believe.

Waaaaaaaah! Ron lost money because he tried to run a turnkey operation of Section 8 rentals to finance his overpriced Harford County McMansion.
