That’s a SCOPE house. (so are 314 and 316). It can be yours for $20K out of pocket plus proof you have the $300+K (?!?!?!) to renovate it.

On the plus side it is within easy walking distance of Penn Station but is on the boarder between good(ish) and bad (closer to the bad) neighborhoods.

All that being said this is the sort of property and location the CIty should be focusing on to get new residents & promote re-development (grassroots not mega SuperBlock) Too bad the city won’t sell this house for a $1 to get it off its books and into the hands of someone who will renovate it.

It’s completely insane that the city expects people to plunk down that much cash for these properties — who would invest a lot of money when you’ll probably never recoup the value?

So that’s who owns this property! 312 is my vacant neighbor and was just bought up along with 3 others along the street. I wonder if the city owned all of them. The only one not sold was the now defunct Prisoner’s Aid house on the corner of Latrobe and Lanvale. So the city was sitting on these? Figures. They’re just as bad a slumlord as anyone else.
