Apparently once-prolific condo developer L Paul Bryant has given up on this project, and his “office” located in “Unit A”…which doesn’t exist.

    L. Paul Bryant continues his Baltimore Slumlord ways In Henderson Harbor, NY where he operates a B&B in the cottage we believe he stole from his second wife after a failed marriage. This was accomplished by having his girlfriend’s father purchase the property from foreclosure.

He continues to follow a flawed business plan: the B&B is poorly designed, poorly constructed, underfunded and poorly managed.

It is my opinion the place is a death trap. The owner has aluminum wire mixed with copper wire. New wiring was never inspected. He has a commercial stove in the basement and does not have the fire suppression or ventilation required by code. I assume he lacks the required smoke detectors. He was given a special use permit by the Town of Henderson which failed to require inspections and no inspections have been conducted to ensure the work performed meets NYS code.

I would file a complaint with the local fire marshal and also with the housing authority in that area — and I would do it sooner, rather than later.
