Headquartered in Newport Beach, Calif., KBS operates eight regional office locations. Since inception, KBS Capital Advisors and KBS Realty Advisors have completed approximately $30.0 billion in real estate transactions on behalf of six institutional commingled funds, fourteen separate accounts with public and corporate pension funds, five sovereign wealth funds and five public, non-traded REITs.

Interesting to note this property’s address does not exist in the state or city tax records — which would lead one to believe this multimillion dollar corporation is not paying taxes on the property. It was purchased by the current owner in 2004.  (Link opens a PDF file).

No of course not. I saw this piece on a canvas before it was done on the wall, and it was one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen.

I noticed two days ago, that the wall has been demolished. the building next to it is still standing… I really enjoyed driving by that wall on my way to work.

Oh what a shame. That was a lovely mural….hopefully they’ll start doing something with that eyesore of a building now?
